How to shop from Japanese websites

I want to provide this information since most of the cosmetics I am writing reviews on, can be purchased only in Japan.

Here is some useful guide how to shop on Amazon Japan.

This is how to shop on Global Rakuten.

You can also buy using shopping services such as: Rinkya, Celga, Shoppingmalljapan, Tenso, Japangoodsfinder.

If you have any experience buying goods from Japan, please share it below in the comments. I would highly appreciate that and add it to this post.

What do you need to know about organic cosmetics (OC)?

So if you are a beginner in this field you might want to know a few basic things. What is OC? It is very clean product which doesn’t contain parabens, artificial fragrance, silicon, sulfates, preservatives, dyes. All ingredients are natural and they are grown in ecological way (without pesticides, herbicides, chemical fertilizers). To get the name “organic”, product has to meet standards and be certificated. But the problem is that some small companies which really produce organic products, cant get certificated since the process is very long and expensive. So the best way you can choose what cosmetics is best for you, is checking the package.

Be aware, that sometimes OC don’t come in shiny, eye catching package (which can be recycled). And it usually doesn’t have strong smell, but doesn’t mean it’s not going to stay there as long as a smell of not organic ones. Also OC shampoos may not lather as much as you want, but it might clean even better than shampoos you used before.

If you have some further questions about OC, please ask me in the comments below. I will try to expand this article from time to time if I find some important information.

21 of the most toxic ingredients in cosmetics

I know you can google it if you are interested in organic cosmetics, but just for those who have no idea and for myself as a reminder ( of course I almost memorized them all and always check the package before I buy). I wouldn’t write down what harm do they do for hair, skin and entire health (don’t forget that we also inhale it while using), there is plenty of information on the internet.
